HERE IS MY BIO. I’M SHELLY FAIRCHILD AND I’M FROM MISSISSIPPI. I GREW UP IN A TOWN CALLED CLINTON, ABOUT FIVE MILES WEST OF JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI, BUT I LIVE IN NASHVILLE AT THE MOMENT. I SING. I WRITE SONGS. I RECORD THE SONGS THAT I WRITE, AND SOMETIMES SONGS THAT I DON’T WRITE. I’VE LOVED MUSIC SINCE I CAN REMEMBER LOVING ANYTHING. I’VE BEEN INFLUENCED BY EVERYONE FROM…MADONNA TO DOLLY PARTON, JONI MITCHELL TO JANIS JOPLIN, ELTON JOHN TO ELVIS, AEROSMITH TO LAUREN HILL, STEVIE WONDER TO PATTI GRIFFIN. I GOT A RECORD DEAL IN 2003 WITH SONY/BMG AND MY FIRST RECORD WAS RELEASED ON COLUMBIA RECORDS IN MAY OF 2005. I’VE BEEN ON THE ROAD WITH A TON OF PEOPLE (JOHN FOGERTY, RASCAL FLATTS, KEITH URBAN, DAVID ALLAN COE, SHOOTER JENNINGS, TIM MCGRAW, WYNONNA, TRAVIS TRITT, MARTINA MCBRIDE) AND I’VE HAD THE INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE OF BEING ON “THE LATE SHOW” WITH DAVID LETTERMAN. OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS I’VE BEEN WRITING AND GIGGIN’ AROUND NASHVILLE. I LOVE MUSIC. I LOVE LIFE. I LOVE MY FAMILY, MY DOG, AND MY MOTORCYCLE. I LOVE TO ACT. I LOVE TO DANCE. I REALLY LIKE CHRISTOPHER GUEST MOVIES AND HAIR PRODUCTS. IN 2007 I JOINED A BAND AND WE CALL OURSELVES “SHELLY & THE PEOPLE”. WE’RE POP, WE’RE ROCK, WE’RE RHYTHM & BLUES, AND WE ARE SOUL. MOSTLY WE’RE JUST MUSIC…FOR EVERYBODY. WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON WHAT WILL BECOME MY SECOND FULL LENGTH RECORD. I’M JUST OUT HERE TRYING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE…BRING A LITTLE PEACE INTO THE WORLD…SAY A FEW THINGS THAT MATTER…JUST MAKE SOME GOOD MUSIC THAT PEOPLE WANNA LISTEN TO…AND BUY..STAY TUNED…PEACE OUT – SHELLY*

Hey badass! I meant to tell you that you rocked it out the other night. I had a horrible day at work and spent the afternoon cooking gumbo for Saturday...therefore...I started drinking when I started cooking! The Vodka won! I was a little hobbly on my heels and headed out as soon as you left the stage. Next time maybe we can hang a bit!!
