CAMP FIRE USA
Camp Fire USA builds caring, confident youth and future leaders. The lessons we teach and the programs we design build confidence in younger children and provide hands-on leadership experiences for teens and young adults.

OKEQ TEENS
OKEQ and Camp Fire have teamed together to empower teens with skills and opportunities to directly impact the issues and concerns of their own lives. We are targeting teens who are children of gay and lesbian families, who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender themselves, and any other teen interested! We will provide a safe and caring environment allowing teens to play an instrumental role in choosing and dealing with the issues that are important to them.
What is
Teens In Action?
Teens who join Teens In Action complete special projects together during the school year. Service learning is different than community service because you get to choose and plan projects yourselves. After the group finishes each project, you spend time together, reflecting and celebrating the results. Service Learning…..
* Enhances development in areas such as self-esteem, moral reasoning, social skills, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and concern for others and society.
* Adds a sense of being valued by showing you can make a difference.
* Increases engagement in your education and community.
*Empowers teens to become active citizens by helping you discover issues you are passionate about and ability to act on them. This in turn can positively affect the community’s view of youth in the area.
* Teaches leadership skills as you take responsibility for designing and implementing service projects.
* Encourages positive lifestyle choices. Youth who serve are less likely than those who don’t to get involved in many different risky behaviors, including drug, alcohol, and tobacco use, vandalism, and school truancy.
