Did you know that 95% of our funding comes from the business community? Sponsoring CSEF is a great way to help keep children safe and is a charity your customers and staff will really care about. So supporting CSEF is a great way to boost staff morale, while ensuring your business makes a positive difference to the community. There are many ways your business can help to educate children about safety – by supporting CSEF’s safety programmes, through corporate donations and payroll giving, as well as fundraising and volunteering. CSEF offers a whole range of safety education resources for schools on important personal safety issues such as bullying, first aid, drugs and alcohol, as well as improving awareness of every day dangers such as roads, fire and water. Your school can start a safety programme without delay by taking part in our Sponsored Safety Quest, a fun competition that tests young people’s safety knowledge. ANTI-BULLYING WEEK 2008 (17th-23rd November)	TEAMING UP TO TEACH CHILDREN TO ‘THINK SAFE’
Bullying hurts and children and young people should not have to endure it. If you know or suspect a victim, or perpetrator, there are many things that can be done to make their lives easier. We aim, with your support, to provide pupils and their families with a simple but effective solution to a problem that often goes unreported but results in many people taking their own lives. To support Anti-Bullying Week The Foundation is encouraging its supports to display a poster that provides useful links for bullying victims and perpretrators. In 2007 a report published by the NSPCC stated that 42% of the 1,700 children surveyed said they had been victims of violence at school and 75% had been bullied at school. The introduction of mobile, internet and wireless technologies has increased the opportunities for misuse through 'cyber bullying'. Unlike other forms of bullying 'cyber bullying' follows children into their private spaces and outside of traditional ...	Every year, 256 children an hour are taken to hospital following an accident. 700 will die and 10,000 are left disabled. ‘Junior Citizen,’ an initiative co-ordinated by CSEF and the Metropolitan Police, is designed to minimise the number of children killed or injured by teaching them some vital skills needed to keep themselves safe....
	RUSSET HOMES ENCOURAGE CHILDREN TO THINK ABOUT ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
	Around 400 pupils in Tonbridge and Malling are being encouraged to think long and hard about the consequences of bullying, anti-social behaviour and criminal damage thanks to new sponsorship from Russet Homes....
