The public comment period for the 2008 Town of Mammoth Lakes Trail System Master Plan - DRAFT has officially closed.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit his or her thoughts! Town staff is working hard to develop responses to each received comment, point by point, and will forward the complete set of information to the consultant team as soon as possible so they can complete the plan's final draft. We're looking at a mid-October delivery date -- stay tuned!

What's News in Mammoth Lakes

Free Ride: The Red's Meadow Shuttle ceased service on September 3rd, which means you can drive on back there for free!

The Pickens Ranch Summer Biathlon went off without a hitch on Sunday, October 12th. Forty-seven racers came from as far away as Berkeley, Tahoe, Minden, and Los Angeles and braved chilly winds and temps to compete in this second-annual event. Check out the photos here!

Developers' Forum

The Developers' Forum is a joint effort by MLTPA and the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce to engage the development community in an exchange of information regarding trails, public access, and the growth of Mammoth Lakes. Our goal is to provide timely, useful outdoor-recreation data to developers and builders as it pertains to their individual projects, and to receive from them information about how they envision trails and access to public lands within their plans. We invite all developers, big and small, to participate.
