Well first of all, a Kinetic Website Design won't cost you money — it's an investment in your company that will make you money! The Kinesis team excels at creating websites with compelling designs that work for you!
That's why we call them Kinetic Websites — we put your ideas into motion! Phase 1: Planning Your Web Site Design:
To develop your Internet identity and Website Architecture, pricing starts at $3,000 - $4,000 (depending on your site). We begin with the design of your home page and one internal page, as well as your navigation. This becomes the framework for the rest of your site. Programming each HTML page starts at $200 (pricing for additional services such as e-commerce, online forms, and Flash animation will be estimated on a case-by-case basis).
This initial fee is packed with value-added Kinetic Website features! It includes the following:
• Consultation Meeting:
We start by listening to you. In our first discussion, we'll ask you about your online marketing objectives, your industry, your competitors, what makes your business unique, and who you are trying to reach.
• Website Planning:
Our in-depth Kinetic Questionnaire is a tool to help you identify your vision for your website. To help us design your website, we will ask you to describe your Internet goals, color preferences, site specifics, unique selling points, etc.
• Domain Name and Hosting:
In this step, Kinesis will help you purchase your domain name and set up your hosting service. We can make specific recommendations for you based on your marketing objectives.
• Website Architecture:
As part of the initial process, Kinesis will develop a map of your website. This is an important tool to define the number of website pages and where each one will be located. It will also determine the optimal navigation structure for your site visitors to easily find their way around your website.
Once we more fully understand the scope of your website, including all of the various elements and internal pages required to make your site a success, we will present you with an estimate to incorporate the rest of these components (examples include: e-commerce, programming, copyediting, portfolio, Flash intro, blog, and so on.)
• Kinetic Design of Home Page and One Internal Page:
Kinesis NEVER uses cookie-cutter designs. Our design team will create Kinetic Website for you with a look and feel for your company that ties into your corporate branding. Your unique Internet Identity will work to attract visitors to your website and keep them interested.
We will present you with 1 – 2 comps created specifically for you. These will be posted online for your review. If necessary, our team will fine-tune the design based on your feedback. Once you have approved the design and we have agreed on the site navigation, we will carry this design through the rest of the site.
• Search Engine Optimization (*highly recommended)
This service can be added to your initial architecture and planning for $1,500. If your market has a wide geographic scope, we highly recommend this service. We will incorporate meta tag coding into your HTML code including meta tags, keywords, alt tags, and title tags to improve search engine ranking. Tags will be integrated with your content and specific industry key word research.
• Graphics
Our team will scour the planet for the perfect graphics for your website (cost of actual photographs and illustrations vary based on source). We can coordinate custom photography or we will find the perfect stock photographs or illustrations to fit into the look and feel of your site. We strategically choose and incorporate these images.
• Interactive Response Form
Your initial fee includes one response box. This can collect information from your visitors (name, e-mail, telephone number, etc.) and can be used for your newsletter, new customer information, report download, survey, or other interactive element. (Additional online forms start at $100)
• Uploading Site to Internet
Once we have completed your new design and you have approved it, we will test your new Kinetic Website on current Internet browsers and upload it to your web-hosting server. Congratulations — you are live!
• Payment Schedule
For the initial fee, a signed contract and a third of the fee are due before Kinesis begins work on your project. Another third will be due halfway through the project. The remaining third will be due upon project completion. Additional elements will be incorporated into a separate contract, which will include a payment schedule.
Phase 2: Building Your Website
Kinesis is committed to getting your new website created quickly, while making sure it is a powerful marketing tool to achieve your specific goals. The Kinesis team excels at creating websites with compelling designs that work for you!
Kinesis has a four-phase approach: Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy.
DEFINE PHASE - (1-2 WEEKS AFTER ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSAL)
Kinesis meets with your team to discuss your website goals and objectives. We ask you about your online marketing objectives, your industry, your competitors, what makes your business unique, and who you are trying to reach. Kinesis will develop a map of your website. This defines where each page will be located and the navigation structure for your site visitors to easily find their way around. We also begin search engine optimization by researching your industry, and determining top search keywords.
DESIGN PHASE - (2-3 weeks after conclusion of define phase)
Kinesis NEVER uses cookie-cutter designs. Our design team will create a Kinetic Website for you with a look and feel ties into your corporate branding and marketing goals. Your new site will work to attract visitors to your website and keep them interested. We will present you with 1 - 2 design concepts. These will be posted online for your review. If necessary, our team will fine-tune the design based on your feedback. Once you have approved the design and we have finalized the site navigation, we will carry this design through the rest of the site.
DEVELOPMENT PHASE - (2-3 WEEKS AFTER COMPLETION OF DESIGN PHASE)
During this phase, Kinesis will carry the design through the entire site, writing the code to make this happen. While this is happening, we will be writing marketing-driven content for your site, integrating the search-term keywords developed in phase one. Kinesis will upload the fully functional test website that's hidden from public view. This strategy allows you to review the site and copy and for us to test it. We will incorporate meta tag coding into your HTML code including keywords, alt tags, and title tags to improve search engine ranking.
DEPLOY PHASE - (1 WEEK AFTER COMPLETION OF DEVELOPMENT PHASE)
Once we have completed your new design and you have approved it, we will test your new Kinetic Website on current Internet browsers and upload it to your web-hosting server. Congratulations - you are live!
