The Consultation operates a policy of strict confidentiality to protect the interest of its members. Details of meetings are only given to members of Consultation and those invited to participate in the meetings. 

Membership costs There is an annual membership fee of £15 and a charge is made for attendance at each meeting. Reduced rates are available for those who are retired or unemployed clergy, religious and ordinands who are studying full-time.
