 Proposed Code Changes 

 

A2D2 Amendments Update

The Planning Commission recommended approval of the A2D2 code amendments, with some revisions, on September 16, 2008.  A link to the revised draft is provided in the Zoning & Parking section below. 

A series of briefings on the draft code amendments will be held in November and December 2008, prior to moving them forward for City Council review.  Links to the briefing slide presentation and a replay of the November 5th briefing are provided below:

Zoning and Parking Text Amendments

The draft amendments revise fourteen sections of the Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 55) and two sections of the Off-Street Parking Ordinance (Chapter 59).  Links to the code amendments and the Planning Commission staff report are provided below. 

Zoning Map Amendments

The proposed zoning map amendments create two downtown zoning districts, eight downtown character overlay zoning districts and three building frontage designations for downtown properties.  Links to the maps are provided below: 

Downtown Plan Amendments

The Commission postponed action the Downtown Plan amendments at the September 16, 2008 meeting.  Action on these amendments will be coordinated with action on the code amendments.
