KPIs — What Really Matters

Presenters:
Gregg Le Blanc, Technical Strategist, Transpara

Utility companies have realized that KPIs aren’t just for executives anymore.  Depending on the maturity of their data and workflow infrastructure, utility companies are finding new ways to influence their daily operations using a combination of KPIs, notifications and workflows.  In their simplest form, KPIs merely alert executives to macroscopic problems without a direct path to action.  However, many utility companies now see tremendous value in applying worker roles and contexts to KPIs so that they correspond to a personalized action plan for each individual subscribed to a set of KPIs.  Learn how utility companies are creating, using and distributing new kinds of KPIs throughout their entire workforce so that everyone can act in concert and context with the goals of the organization. Use your time in this workshop to outline your organization’s strategy for identifying the metrics that will matter to your utility and implementing the corresponding enabling KPI framework.
