"Great fun, Great food, Great Music" 
Have been to the Abbey Pub a number of times in the past few years and to be honest the food was hit or miss. In the past few weeks myself and friends have been there about 6 times, for different shows. I have to say their new kitchen staff put out some kick ass food. We were there on Monday night, and had some of the best Irish Beef Stew we have ever had. And of course their burgers ROCK! Big and juicy...sweet potato fries upon request...

"New Chef”
I recently visited the abbey pub after being advised that a new chef introduced a kick ass menu and I was not disappointed, the food was excellent and it it was a through back to the many years and good times we had at the abbey enjoying the very best in traditional Irish and folk music. It is nice to see a known venue reinvent themselves and are now offering the best food in town. I hit it at the right for music also as it was Sunday after noon and I was in at the right time to enjoy the oldest traditional music session on Sunday afternoon, excellent.
