Children for Children, along with its President and Silda Wall host the eighth annual The Art of Giving benefit at Christie's Auction House. Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. and include a dinner with a Live Auction and a celebration of the evening’s honorees: Sherrie Rollins Westin of Sesame Workshop and David Westin of ABC News.
From 8:30 p.m. onwards supporters will enjoy desserts and dancing with live music and a silent auction. Children for Children promotes hands-on youth volunteering programs that teach the value of community involvement and civic engagement. CFC raises funds to support its youth service programs and to purchase essential educational tools – such as books, computers, science equipment and art materials – for New York’s most under-resourced schools.
