Design Cares - fashion gives back

An enchanting evening of mingling, blinging, noshing and giving. Over 700 designers, stylists, professionals, fashionistas, and celebrities join together for an evening of giving. This event raised over a half million dollars since inception towards fighting childhood cancer. In 2009 our goal is to raise over $500,000 in one evening.

The 2008 event held at Roseland Ballroom was hosted by celebrity stylist and fashion commentator, Philip Bloch, and featured the stunning designs of Marchesa. Marchesa creations have graced the likes of Hollywood's best including Jennifer Lopez, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, and Cate Blanchett.

The 2009 Design Cares will feature one-of-a-kind couture gowns from the world’s top designers. There will be opportunities to bid for these gowns at the event and on-line, making this an international evening of giving back.
